We’re Not Going To Take It! Fitness Wages War On Cyrus The Virus

Is it just us or are you done sitting around waiting to die too? Yes we are in tense times and YES we must be vigilant in doing our part in cutting Cyrus’ head off, like keeping fit and healthy, washing our hands until they bleed, following the guidelines set up by the authorities and overall not being careless about COVID-19 better known as the Corona Virus. At Strong, we’re so so done. But also wae’re here to do our part in easing the tension of these anxious times. So, while you’re stuck inside waiting for the gym to open back up, we wanted to remind you that sometimes shaking up your routine can actually be just what your body needs to make progress.

In the spirit of cutting season, we’ve put together this workout you can do anywhere – the break room, the park, and even your living room. This was designed to be done as a bodyweight workout, but if you happen to have dumbbells (or an extra gallon of water), you can use them to add some resistance and ramp up the intensity.

Perform each exercise for one minute, resting only when you’ve completed the entire list. Take a quick water break and hit the circuit two more times:Fitness vs Cyrus The Virus

Pushups
High knees
Squat Jumps
Triceps Dips
Walking Lunges
Inverted Body Rows (use your kitchen table or a park bench)
Burpees
Pike Push Ups
Wall Sit
Plank Hold*

*For an added challenge, try tapping your hand to your opposite shoulder, alternating sides, without moving your hips from side to side.
